Level 1 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Awarding Body 


This course is registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or HABC

 

Duration

 

The course comprises of 3 hours of training with the final assessment being a multiple choice exam of 15 questions taken at the end of the session.

 

Course Content

 

The course comprises of 4 modules:

 

  • Introduction to food safety
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Cleaning
  • Contamination

 

This qualification will benefit any one working in a situation where there is food being served.


Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering


Awarding Body 

 

The course is registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or HABC

 

Duration

 

Six hours of training with the final assessment being a multiple choice exam of thirty questions taken at the end of the day.

Diet and Nutrition for the Elderly

Course Overview


T
his course is recommended for anyone involved in the preparation and provision of food to the elderly.

 

Course Aim


The course is designed to provide knowledge and understanding of the problems associated with the nutritional status of the elderly, and how to meet their nutrient requirements in line with government guidelines.

 

Duration

 

The content of this course will be covered in a ½ day session of 3 hours.
